Creamy Chicken Casserole Recipe

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers (or breadcrumbs)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta al dente (1-2 minutes less than package instructions). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix:
    • Cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, 1 cup cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add chicken and pasta to the sauce mixture. Stir until combined.
  5. Transfer to baking dish and spread evenly. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  6. Make topping: Mix crushed crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle over the casserole.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm!
